SS1 in Finland was a Super-Special in Laajavouri close to the centre of Jyvaskyla. The stage started with an ascent of the ski slope and the 1,000's of spectators ensured it was a 'Super' special. Or as one true seasoned rally fan said, 'this is the best Mickey Mouse stage I have ever been to.'
