Four-time Rally America National champion Travis Pastrana will make a one-off return to the series on the Rally of the 100 Acre Wood, which gets underway in Salem, Missouri, at 1430hrs local time today (Friday).

Pastrana hasn’t competed on a rally since retiring from the lead of last season’s New England Forest Rally. Since then he has concentrated on his career as a NASCAR driver.

The 27-year-old American freestyle motocross legend will be seeded first on the road in his Open class, 2007-specification Subaru Impreza WRX. Jeremy Wimpey will co-drive.

Defending Rally America champion Antoine L’Estage is seeded number two in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X. Subaru Rally Team USA drivers David Higgins and Dave Mirra start third and fourth respectively. Round one winner Travis Hanson will start in sixth position.

The event is scheduled to finish on Saturday evening (February 26).
